Costa Rica Trip: PURA VIDA Experience
PURA VIDA Trip – 14 days / 13 nights!
A travel program full of contrasts, where we will dive deep into the cultural diversity of Costa Rica, taking us from the Southern Caribbean to the Pacific coast, passing through the Central Valley.
A complete, alternative, and identity-driven journey that will help us understand the idiosyncrasy of this Central American country.
We will begin the journey by heading to the province of Limón. Before reaching the Southern Caribbean, we will discover the richness of the Caribbean tropical rainforest.
In the Southern Caribbean, we will experience Afro-Caribbean culture, tasting the famous Rice & Beans while enjoying the sounds of traditional Calypso music. Moving inland, into the Talamanca mountains, we will discover one of the most unique and identity-rich indigenous communities: the Bribri people.
Stopping and spending the night in Sarapiquí, in the province of Heredia, we will continue toward the province of Alajuela, visiting towns dedicated to coffee cultivation, known as “El Grano de Oro”, as well as others such as Sarchí, renowned for the design and craftsmanship of artisanal and ornamental furniture.
We will then continue to one of the most visited and internationally recognized environments in Costa Rica: Monteverde, considered by National Geographic as “the crown jewel of cloud forest reserves.” Eco-tourism and cloud forest at their finest.
Next, we will visit a province with a truly distinct and genuine character: Guanacaste. Nicoya and its resilient and steadfast inhabitants are a true example of life, standing out as one of the five Blue Zones worldwide.
We will travel north through the province of Guanacaste until reaching Rincón de la Vieja Volcano, near the border with Nicaragua. A less crowded destination, protected by the Guanacaste Conservation Area. This region has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Puntarenas, the Pearl of the Pacific, pure tica essence. One of the most alternative areas we propose. Spectacular sunsets at the port, accompanied by refreshing “Churchills” enjoyed by the lighthouse and the sea.
Central Pacific region — land of crocodiles, where the Tárcoles River and Carara National Park stand out as one of the most internationally recognized areas from an ecological standpoint. White-sand and volcanic black-sand beaches, surrounded by tropical vegetation that embraces the ocean.
