Welcome to the Tryout Application Academy for the West Ham United Foundation International Academy of Football. This programme provides unprecedented opportunity for aspiring footballers eager to demonstrate their potential and earn a spot in the academy squad.

Our elite High-Performance approach integrates the latest sports science and technology with Premier League level training techniques to provide an intensive programme that will test and help optimise the performance of all participants.
TRYOUT FOR THE ACADEMY OF FOOTBALL
You decide if you want to participate in the official tryout for the Academy of Football or use the pugramme to prepare for future tryouts. If you are accepted, you will have the opportunity to continue training at this same level for the entire season as well as participating in talent ID sessions and demanding match play fixtures against other top academy teams. Live in London at one of our residential options and become a full-time academy player. This unique training opportunity can be combined with multiple academic pathways allowing all participants to continue their studies in order to achieve their next goal, whether that be university in the UK, a US college with the aim of a soccer scholarship or developing their professional sports career either on or off the pitch. Athletes, both boys and girls between the age of 16 to 19 are eligible. The Academy of football has three intakes each year: September, January and April.
You will also have the possibility to blend your training with a range of academic qualifications. Players in the tryout will also have the unique opportunity to have a personal development plan and guidelines to enter the academy and progress on the pathway of their choice.

Cancelation policy
All cancellations must be made in writing and will be confirmed in writing by Choices International. If you cancel within 14 days booking, a full refund will be provided minus a £150 registration fee. Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 90 days of the cancellation date and refunded to the original payer using the same payment method.
However, this clause shall be deemed null and void in cases where cancellation occurs within four (4) weeks prior to the commencement of junior summer programmes. In such cases, the Participant may have the option to make a claim through their insurance provider. Any recovery of course fees shall be subject to the terms, conditions, and cancellation cost provisions of the insurance policy, and to the Participant’s full compliance with those requirements.

- Up to five months before the client’s scheduled start date: Full amount paid refunded minus a £150 application fee plus admin fee £125.
• Cancellation done three months before the client´s. scheduled start date : 50% of total fees of the programme refunded.
• Cancellation done twomonths before the client´s. scheduled start date : 25% of total fees of the programme refunded.
• All cancellations made one month or less before a scheduled start date: No refund.
• Cancellation done twomonths before the client´s. scheduled start date : 25% of total fees of the programme refunded.
• All cancellations made one month or less before a scheduled start date: No refund.
- The registration booking fee of £ 150 and admin fee of £125 will not be refunded.
- A £20 fee will be charged for any refunds issued by bank transfer, in addition to the sender's bank charges.

- If the programme was paid in full, a refund of 75% of the total fee will be issued.
- If only a down payment was made, the down payment will be retained (up to 25% of the total fee).
- The £150 application fee is non-refundable and excluded from these calculations.
• Cancellation between three months and one month before scheduled start date. 50% of total fees of the programme are refunded.
• All cancellations made one month or less before a scheduled start date: No refund.
• The registration booking fee of £ 150 plus admin fee £125 will not be refunded.
- A £20 fee will be applied to any refunds issued by bank transfer in addition to bank charges
Once the course has started, fees are non-refundable. A participant who fails to attend any part of his/her course due to illness or any other reason whatsoever, whether within or outside the participant’s control, shall not be entitled to a refund of any fees paid, nor to attend any classes or training in place of those missed. If a participant is seriously ill or injured and is diagnosed by a doctor as unfit to train or study he/she must leave the programme immediately. Parents will be notified so that they can make the appropriate arrangements for his/her immediate departure/repatriation. In such an event, Choices International will not be liable for any expenses, and any costs incurred will be charged to the participant or their parents or guardians. Repatriation expenses shall be covered by the insurance provided to students through the programme.
In the case of a participant being badly sick or injured, and diagnosed by a doctor as not being in a condition to train, he/her must leave the programme immediately. Parents will be notified so that they can make the appropriate arrangementsfor his/her immediate departure/repatriation.
In such an event, ChoicesInternationalwill not be liable for any expenses, and any costs incurred will be charged to the participant or their parentsor guardians.
We highly recommend taking out our or another cancellationinsurance to cover the eventual payment of all repatriation expenses.
Visa Cancellation and Insurance
Refunds Some partial costs may be covered by the standard insurance policy provided in the programme, subject to the terms and conditions of the individual insurance policy applicable to each participant enrolled in the academy programme. Participants (or their fee payers) may be eligible to claim a refund of up to £7,500 through the standard insurance policy, subject to the insurer’s terms and conditions.
An optional Premium Insurance Service may be purchased at an additional cost. The Premium Insurance Service must be selected and confirmed by the participant (or fee payer) at the time of registration for the programme. This service is provided at an additional cost and may provide refund eligibility of up to £25,000, subject to the terms and conditions of the insurance provider. Programme fees will be refunded through the insurance provider only if the visa is refused through no fault of the participant. No refund will be made if the visa refusal results from the fault or negligence of the participant, parents, or agent, including but not limited to submission of incomplete documentation or insufficient proof of funds. Any cancellation claims must be made by the client directly to the insurance company.
Choices International will not be involved in the claims process.

All refunds will be made to the original fee payer only via the same method that original payment was made. All refunds will be made within 90 days of cancellation and done by the insurance. A £20 fee will be applied to any refunds issued by bank transfer.
