CA SUMMER ACADEMY

Welcome to BIWPA's Summer Academy - California edition. Our premier summer water polo program arrives in the US to offer the best Spanish professional training. Immerse yourself in one of the world's most renowned training methodologies, a system that has catapulted Spanish water polo to the pinnacle of success. This is an intense program focused on individual technical and tactical skills, fundamentals, and decision-making.

High School: 2010 - 2006
Development: 2011, 2012, 2013

Athletes will be placed into separate groups based on age and skill level following coaches' evaluations on day 1.

Train under BIWPA’s world-renowned Spanish system, with a focus on individual technique, tactical awareness, and smart decision-making.

🔹 Top-Level Coaches
Learn from experienced professional coaches from Spain, including BIWPA Head Coaches Yuri Colet and Ferran Pascual. A training methodology led by 2x Olympian coach

🔹 Specialized Goalie Program
Led by Paula Nieto, D1 goalkeeper at Fresno State and pro player in Spain, this program is tailored for goalies seeking focused development.

🔹 Olympic-Level Video Analysis
Exclusive access to underwater footage, technical breakdowns, and game review sessions featuring Olympic athletes.

🔹 High-Intensity Schedule
24 hours of pool time across 4 days, with daily training blocks from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Also with dryland, stretching, bands, and activation games.

Camp is open to any and all entrants limited only by capacity, age, and/or grade.

Cancelation policy

1.1. Participant Cancellation:

- Up to 45 days before the start of the Camp: Participants are entitled to an 80% refund of the amount paid. The remaining 20% will be retained to cover administrative and management costs.
- Between 44 and 15 days before the start of the Camp: Participants are entitled to a 50% refund of the amount paid.
- Less than 15 days before the start of the Camp: No refund will be issued, except in cases of force majeure duly justified and documented, such as serious illness or accident.
To request a cancellation, participants must send written notification to camps@biwpa.com, including supporting documentation in cases of force majeure.

1.2. Camp Cancellation:

If BIWPA cancels the Camp for organizational reasons, participants are entitled to:
- A full refund of the amount paid, or
- The option to apply the amount paid as credit for future Camps organized by BIWPA.
In cases of cancellation due to force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions), BIWPA will refund 80% of the amount paid, retaining 20% to cover incurred costs.

1.3. Camp Modifications:

If BIWPA makes significant changes to the Camp (e.g., dates, schedules, or location), participants will be notified at least 10 days in advance. If participants do not accept the modifications, they can choose to:
- Request a full refund, or
- Apply the amount paid to a future Camp.

1.4. Participant Substitution:

Participants may transfer their registration to another person by notifying BIWPA at least 7 days before the Camp begins. Complete details of the new participant must be provided.

1.5. Refund Processing:

Approved refunds will be processed via bank transfer within a maximum of 15 business days from the acceptance of the cancellation request.
